My lesson plans are centred solely around the goals of my students, particularly teaching them material that they have either brought to me or we have found together, but also accommodates those wanting to pursue Graded exams.
Relaxed Environment
I have a very gentle and patient style of teaching, adaptable for all abilities and find this helps my students to make the most progress most quickly, which in turn helps them to keep positive and motivated.
Musicality
My goal as a teacher is to enable my students to be able to perform music with good technique and confidence, but my primary focus is to encourage expression and playing with emotion, rather than just simply painting by numbers.
